Three years later, in 2017, Anthony was promoted Thermoplastic Laboratory Manager in the Hutchinson’s Research Center and managed a team of 35 persons (Technicians, Engineers, PhDs) in charge of high performance TP/TPV research and development for Hutchinson markets (automotive, aerospace, oil & gas).Īnthony graduated with a Materials Engineer’s Degree from Polytech Lyon and Innovative Materials Master’s Degree from UCBL in 2008. He developed high performance thermoplastics and thermoplastic vulcanizates for automotive, aerospace and oil and gas applications using rubber technologies and reactive extrusion. Based in the United States, he opened the north-American market to the railway equipment daughter company VALDUNES, through commercial and technical partnerships with clients and local contractors still running today.Īnthony Thevenon is Chief Technology Officer at Demeta since September 2020.Īfter completing a PhD in Polymer Physics at the Claude Bernard University on the modeling of thermoplastic morphology/thermomechanical behavior under elongation relationships, Anthony has worked on sizing formulations for basalt fiber composites for aerospace applications.Īnthony joined the Hutchinson’s Research Center in 2014, where he began as a project manager. Prior to that, Ralph started his business development career at Usinor-Sacilor (now Arcelor Mittal), where he worked five years at the specialty steel division. In the period, sales volumes have more than doubled and, together with his team, Ralph has opened new markets for the company : Russia, Brazil, India, Turkey.ĭuring the nine years before that, he held successively sales, sales management and plant management positions in the specialty packaging division of SCA (now DS Smith). Prior to this, Ralph has worked since 1991 in various industries and more particularly in the field of performance materials.įor twelve years, Ralph led the sales and marketing activities of TELENE SAS, global leader in the segment of DCPD based resin systems.
